Stone Creek

Stone Creek, like nearby Anatolia, is one of the more favored developments in all of Rancho Cordova due largely to its geographical identity and separation. This is one of the newest developments in all of Rancho Cordova improved predominantly with resale homes less than 10 years old.  Currently, there is also a new home sales office offering single family detached homes with prices ranging from just slightly higher than the County’s median price to the top end of the value range for the local area.  Something to consider is that frequently, a resale home can be purchased for less than a new home.  This is a true buyer’s advantage because often the landscaping is in and valuable options and upgrades have already been installed and paid for by the previous owner.  Additionally, the resale home is currently standing, whereas, a new home purchased from the builder’s sales office may not be built for several months.

Stone Creek is located on the south side of Highway 50 and west of Sunrise Blvd.  This location provides easy access to the Highway 50 corridor.  Several business office complexes, professional offices, and retail stores are located within just a few blocks of  Stone Creek.  One notable characteristic of the nearby, outlying area is the high number of small manufacturing and fabricating shops and construction support businesses.  These businesses employ several craftsman and trade workers.  Some of the most recognizable, larger anchor businesses found near Stone Creek are Lowe’s Home Improvement Center, Home Depot, and Costco.  Additional businesses within walking distance of the Stone Creek community include Vision Service Plan (VSP), Delta Dental, Bank of America Regional Mortgage Center, Progressive Insurance, and Verizon Call Center.  Several small restaurants and other community support businesses are also within the immediate, adjacent area.
